Below we've highlighted the areas of the map where official wedding festivities will be hosted. The additional activities that we've suggested to you in the "Fun Things to do in Pittsburgh" section are not on the map below.
We have reserved a block of hotel rooms near our wedding events which you are welcome to book. The link is available here.
The Convent is a historic building in the South Side of Pittsburgh. We've rented this 5,000 square foot space from July 17th, 2023 to July 20th, 2023 to act as a home away from home for all of our guests.
Across the several days, we'll be hosting meals and board games here. Those activities are described in more detail in the sections July 17th and July 18th.

Parking at the Convent is limited. Guests are encouraged to carpool with each other when traveling to the Convent.

Most out of town guests will arrive in Pittsburgh in the afternoon on Monday, July 17th, 2023.
We'll be hosting a homecooked meal and board games in the evening of Monday, July 17th at the Convent. The dress code for those events is casual.
Specific times for dinner and board games will be posted in the near future.
On Tuesday, July 18th, 2023, we'll be hosting a series of activities designed for guests to get to know each other.
In the morning, around 10 AM, we'll host a pancake breakfast at the Convent. After breakfast, around 11 AM, we'll walk downtown to do some sight seeing and picture taking, including a stop at the Point where the three rivers in Pittsburgh meet! In the early afternoon, around 2 PM, we'll host a guided craft activity at the Convent.
From 5 PM to 8 PM, we'll host dinner and games at the Pins Mechanical Arcade, which includes bowling, pinball, foosball, and more.
Dress code for festivities planned on Tuesday, July 18th will be summer casual. Please dress comfortably and be prepared to move! Keep in mind that Pittsburgh weather can be unpredictable.
Wednesday, July 19th, is the day of our wedding!
Our wedding ceremony will be held at the Grand Staircase at the historic Allegheny Courthouse at 436 Grant St, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. Guests will be expected to pass through security, so please allot enough time to comfortably arrive. Guests may arrive as early as 2:00 PM for seating. The ceremony itself will occur at 2:30 PM.
After the ceremony is complete, wedding guests are invited to join us for a reception dinner from 5 PM to 8 PM, at the Melting Pot at 242 W Station Square Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. If you haven't done so yet, please fill out the food preferences survey asap (right now) so we can plan ahead!
Following dinner, guests are invited to travel on the famous Monongahela Funicular (it's roughly a 5 minute ride) to the Overlook on Mount Washington. Once there, we will admire the view of the Pittsburgh skyline at night.
At 11 PM, Bryce and Emily will depart for Union Station in Pittsburgh, where they will leave at 11:59 PM for their honeymoon. Guests are welcome to wave goodbye to us at the train station (for those that haven't already head off to bed for the night!)
Attire for wedding day will be dressy summer attire, with a preference for ivories, beiges, pinks, and browns.
Please wear clothes that you feel comfortable and happy in. Please also keep in mind that it will be a summer day that will involve moving around and that Pittsburgh weather is unpredictable.
Men are suggested to wear slacks, a polo or button down shirt (no tie required), and dress shoes.
Women are suggested to wear sun dresses and sandals or flats that are comfortable for walking.

Please respond "Yes" if you plan to be in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for wedding festivities, and "No" if you will not be attending any wedding festivities. Please also indicate the name of any guest you intend to bring with you.
We will be hosting a few days in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for 50 guests to get to know each other, become familiar with how we fell in love with this incredible town, and celebrate our wedding.
Our events span several days, from July 17th, 2023 to July 20th, 2023. Guests are invited to attend the extent of the festivities and events as they are able. Please feel free to explore our agenda, and attend the activities that will be the most meaningful to you.
We also have compiled a list of activities that we encourage people to try, so that they may become familiar with Pittsburgh during any time that they wish to be separate from the group-provided activities.
